Doshisha University has established Keishiryo, its first educational dormitory, which plays a leading role in realizing a diverse and inclusive campus. The university also collaborates with Kyoritsu Maintenance Co., Ltd. to introduce students to the Dormy student residences.
Both Keishiryo and the Dormy residences provide various forms of support—such as meals, facilities, and safety measures—to ensure that students can enjoy a comfortable and fulfilling campus life. They offer private living spaces conducive to academic focus, along with well-equipped common areas that foster interaction among residents.
Furthermore, students have many opportunities to meet and build relationships with peers, senior students, and juniors. These environments serve not only as places to live but also as spaces that nurture social skills and communication abilities.
Doshisha University’s first educational dormitory is a place where students from diverse racial, gender, physical, and cultural backgrounds live and learn together.
Through daily life in the dormitory and engagement with the local community, The dormitory aims to nurture individuals who can understand diverse values and transform differences into sources of new creativity.

University-affiliated residences offer meal-inclusive student housing in Kyoto. With two meals a day, furnished rooms, a live-in manager couple, and auto-lock security, residents can enjoy a safe and comfortable student life.
The residence is a recently built property in a quiet neighborhood near Seimei Shrine.
